Piggy Banks are obsolete and the method isn’t advised by financial analysts.
Boys loved to boast something like newly bought sports car or limited edition shoes and to some degree boast even their salaries. Most of my colleagues share their incomes to each other from time to time and how much they have on their savings, I kept silent most of the time when they talked about it not because I don’t have the values as equal as them but I am embarrass to let them know how much I have.
Due to the fact that I can’t avoid being asked, I just tell them the amount and they’re impressions were shocked knowing that I saved more than what they have. So they asked me, do you have any transactions aside from your job? Or how do save your money. I and my colleagues both buy things we need and I spent money the same way they do.
I just save a lot that’s all. But this is no secret when a close friend of mine asked me about saving technique, and I told him the “4, 3, 2 and 1” method of saving money. This method was taught to me since high school by our school guard and until now I find it very effective.
You might want to ask, so what are these digits? And how do they work?
It’s simple, just add zero at the end of each number, and it will end up being 40 followed by 30 then 20 and finally 10. If you add them up you will get a sum of 100. See?
- 4 [Four]: That should be 40% of your income, It should be kept in your savings [Don’t you ever touch this, EVER. How about emergencies? We will talk about it later.]
- 3 [Three]: 30% will go to you of course, the sweat and blood of your efforts. This will be your pocket money, if you’d like to watch a movie, date someone, and buy new clothes or if you want to buy something.
- 2 [Two]: 20% shall be spent on your personal necessities like toiletries, personal hygiene and if you are renting a room this should help.
- 1 [One]: and finally the 10% this time will be saved for emergency fund. We can never tell when we’re going to get sick or any of our family members. It’s better to have this than to have nothing at all.
Few notes to consider:
- If you touch one number just to supplement the other will ruin everything, and that 40% shouldn’t be touched.
- If you don’t have anything to buy on your 20% that should be added to your 40%. No personal things to buy? Add it to your 40%, Simple.
- It’s better to have a separate account for your emergency funds.
When starting to communicate with your readers; first and foremost is to build trust and credibility. And one way to get that credibility is by telling them something about yourself, skills you possess and anything about you as if selling yourself to the market.
Your reader’s impression reflects on how you present yourself through writing, which reflects your personality even from behind the monitor. That’s when credibility builds up.
If you want to strengthen the trust, the least you could do is state some personal thoughts about yourself, the concept in that is you trusted your readers with a bit of your personal stuff therefore in return they’ll pay you back the trust you gave them.
Since it is your debut in writing, there is no specific rule in creating this topic, just let everything flow out of your mind. Remember the two words, Trust and Credibility.
Peace and Blessings Royal,
You just don’t know how broken I am right now, When you and your sibling was born I was so happy at what God gave me.
I know I wasn’t there much when you grew up, I wasn’t able to watch you grow since I was not here.
But when I came; You showed me love. I never thought of you one day leaving me, So I loved you back the way you loved me.
We share the same food as I do, We hang out sometimes, We don’t speak the same language
but we understand one another’s thought, At times when I feel down and lonely; you were there clinging to me gesturing that everything’s gonna be okay.
I hope I was a good friend to you, Never will I treat you as my pet. I am not your owner, as I know; One day you will return to your rightful owner. You just came to me and showed what love is.
Honestly, I am so broken and I feel so much grief in me right now. I am not yet ready for you to leave so sudden,
I am hoping you will be among the creations of God roaming around paradise and be with your Grandmother and other siblings.
I will really miss you Royal, I will really do.
I love you.
(A message to my Cat pet Royal)
It’s been a month since I graduated from a prestigious school with a degree in IT with awards in Thesis and Internship. Way back while I was in my junior year in college I took a Professional Examination, It was an examination given to professionals for an added credential and a requirement to have a regular position in any Government Offices. I took the exam way back in 2011 and happily I passed on my first take. I don’t have the intention on taking the exam seriously, what I have in mind that time was to peep into the type of exam and its coverage and then take it the next examination but I passed.
Now that I have the certificate of being a licensed professional I am in the middle of choosing whether to search for a private company that would hire me in job related to my field of study or work in the government as a government employee. But the thing is the President of the Philippines set rules and removed the incentives given to government employees like the 13 month pay, extra allowance and other services. Well that’s what my friend’s mom told me regarding the abuse of the government.
Another thing is that they will also implement another Act that if both individuals (couples in particular) share the same Agency for the pension, either one of them will only receive the benefits. Isn’t it so unfair? they work like slaves (even though they are being paid) then these types of rules will be implemented? It really caught my attention and come to think of it the president still has 3 years more in the “Power Chair”. Some of the couples file a divorce (just for formalization) to evade the rules implemented by them (the government).
I was thinking to work in a private company like HP, Dell, IBM and other Technological Companies but then I still want to study, I was thinking of working in a government and during the night shift classes I would attend my classes (I am referring to a University Law School). If I work in a private institution I won’t have any time to go to a post grad school like Law School since working on a Development Team would stress me up and needs a rigorous activity to complete a single project.
I really want to go a Law School and it’s my dream, I am having hesitation on what track should I take. If you are wearing my shoes, What would you choose?
